WELCOME
A warm welcome to all visitors to the Greenfield Home page.
2007 was another great year for Greenfield. We saw a record number of children representing our village, with some excellent results across the various events. Football, Cricket, Basketball, Rounders and Athletics all achieved particularly good results at both individual and team levels.
So THANK YOU for competing for us last year and we look forward to seeing you back with us in 2008.
Who can compete for Greenfield?
Children and young people from age 7 to 17 who live in or go to school in Greenfield, are able to represent the Village. Also Seniors who do not live in Saddleworth, but have competed as a junior in the past, can compete for Greenfield at senior level.
Please don’t worry if you have no experience in any of the events. Our aim is to get as many children involved, enjoying themselves and above all HAVING FUN!
Registration 
All children will need to be registered prior to the start of the Olympics, and registration forms can be downloaded from the site and handed in to the relevant coaches for each event. Registration cost is £3.
T-shirts are available to purchase at a cost of £4, with a reduced amount of £3 when an old one is returned for recycling.
Training
If you would like to come along, please take a look at the Training Schedule and decide what you would like to do.
Parents are reminded that they are responsible for their own children during training sessions and at the events themselves. They should remain with them or arrange supervision with other adults, particularly with the junior children.
We look forward to seeing some old and new faces again this year, and working towards a successful year for Greenfield in 2008.
