EMILY SHAW participated for SAS in the Saddleworth Olympics before taking up athletics seriously in 2002 and going on to win gold for England at the World Schools' Games in Greece in 2006. Emily won the 200m title and became the fastest under-20 female runner in the UK at the distance.
