Well it is that time again when we are fast approaching our summer break and the training starts for team L.G.F.G in preparation for the Saddleworth Olympics. A very warm welcome to all our new participants who will be wearing the black t-shirt for the first time this year. To be eligible to take part you need to either reside in or attend junior school in one of the areas. At Senior level this year you need to be 16 or under on 1/9/2011 to take part.

Please find attached the registration form and training schedule for team L.G.F.G. Please complete the registration form and return to the collection boxes in the school foyers or post to L.G.F.G. c/o 160 Mossley Road, Grasscroft, Oldham OL4 4HA.

Oldham Sports Development Officers are running summer holiday sports sessions at Saddleworth School (schedule attached). Saddleworth Runners are also doing a session on Thursday evenings @ Churchill Playing Fields.

A big thank you to all the parents /volunteers who are helping us with the training sessions this year. We need some support this year with the Football and Cricket training. If you can offer any help please contact Siobhan on 01457-820196 or Margaret on 01457-874415. Badminton will start in September - date to be confirmed
